McClure Meet and Greet
Thursday, July 27 –Rising 6th graders and new 7th and 8th graders will start with a program at 12:00 in the McClure Theater. You can then take a self-tour of the building, find your homeroom and then head to the cafeteria. At 1:30, returning 7th and 8th graders are welcome to drop in and find your homeroom and then head down to the cafeteria till 3:00. While Supplies Last
Credit Cards, cash and checks will be accepted. Please understand the credit card process is a little slower, as we use Cobb County School Wi-Fi and there is a $2 service charge per transaction to offset our cost.
Our hope is that McClure PTSA will not have to hold an additional PTSA school-wide fundraiser during the school year. We will still continue with our effortless fundraising from Box Tops, Publix cards, and Sparkles Family Nights
McClure PTSA Board – We are still looking for wonderful volunteers to fill many of our open chair positions. If you are interested in helping chair one of our committees like Renaissance, Reflections, Science Fair, Campus Beautification, Healthy Living Week, Red Ribbon Week, Olympics, 6th Grade Event, or would like to volunteer in some other capacity, please contact Connie Bargeron and Dana Nooney at email@example.com.
Know a Rising Sixth Grade Parent? – If you are aware of any rising sixth grade parents that would like to receive the Maverick Minute, please have them visit the McClure PTSA website http://mcclure.ptsamail.com to sign up.
School Supply Lists – There are so many different programs at McClure that it is difficult to make a practical list for you to shop from. Teachers will share supply needs on the first day of class. In the meantime, it never hurts to stock up on notebook paper, blue & black pens, a flash drive, and pencils- lots and lots of pencils! Students might also find it useful to have a working email address that they can use during the school year
Please be sure to check the PTSA website – www.mcclure.ptsamail.com, and you can also keep up with what’s happening at our school at the McClure Middle School page on Facebook.
